What is included within the DesignBi Suite?
BI Environment Creator
The BI environment creator will help you produce everything required for loading, storing and analyzing the information. The product is used to create PSA, Master Data stores and Multi-dimensional cubes as well helping you to easily administrate the whole BI environment.
BI Data Loader (ETL) Product
This product will take your source data and help you load it into the DesignBI environment, transforming the data if required as it does so. The product integrates fully as it stores the information in the correct manner as required by our BI rules. The DesignBi Business intelligence environment is an enhanced structure to the standard ones used by other product offerings. Therefore our ETL product has to deal with not only Fact and Dimension structures but also time & language dependent master data, external hierarchies and ranges.
OLAP Engine
Used to aggregate and store data within the application server memory before passing it over to the analysis tools to allow them to drag and drop while still handling large amounts of data effectively. It is clever enough to know how the data is stored within the our enhanced structures of cubes and master data stores.
Parameter Assistant
This product is quite unique and handles all communications between the analysis tools and the OLAP Engine while allowing you filter any unnecessary data from the data store before any analysis takes place. This allows increased performance and therefore quicker queries. It even works with non DesignBi presentation tools such as Microsoft Excel.
Presentation Tools
There are three main analysis tools that are delivered as a part of our product offering. DesignBI Windows Analyzer, DesignBI WEB Analyzer and DesignBI Dashboard designer. There are also a huge number of 2D charts available to use within the DesignBI analysis tools allowing you to build complex dashboard type of reports incorporating both grids and charts.
Hosting Offerings
We are currently in talks with a number of hosting service providers to offer a true SaaS type of product. This is where we would allow you to use our own Database and Application Servers which will be administrated by us. All you will have to do is load and analysis the data using all the analysis tools provided to you including Microsoft Excel or the internet for Dashboards.
